Steve Collins Jr told us he would punch holes in opponents at light heavyweight, but didn’t even need a power punch of note to claim his second stoppage win in the House of Blues on Saturday.

The Wolfhound scored a first round stoppage victory over debutant Tyrell Bates in Boston, but wasn’t too impressed after.

The bout was the Irishman’s first in 13 months following an extended period out injured and the Celtic Warriors fighter was keen for some rounds and even a test.
