Belfast bantamweight Ryan Burnett [12(9)-0] put on a mature performance at the weekend to win the British title.

Facing wily veteran Jason Booth, Burnett boxed clever en-route to a twelve round points decision win – the first time he has gone past the sixth round.

Nevertheless, Burnett showed multiple sides to his game and had Booth down heavily in the first.
