Sing-Off: Nonito Donaire and Carl Frampton go voice-to-voice
The first press conference for Carl Frampton v Nonito Donaire on Wednesday afternoon was a cordial affair.
The featherweight pair exchanged compliments and pleasantries throughout the event at the Europa Hotel and the Belfast crowd were enamoured by their visitor.
It doesn’t look like there’ll be any bad-blood, back-and-forths, or ‘beef’ in the build-up to their April 21st clash at the SSE Odyssey Arena.
Indeed, a sing-off may be the closest thing to competition there will be before the first bell in three months time.
Having a reputation as a bit of a singer, Donaire was asked by Behind The Gloves for a song.
The friendly Filipino went all in with ‘Thinking Out Loud’ by Ed Sheeran, and the clip would circulate widely.

Later, not to be outdone, Frampton gave his response.
‘The Jackal’ loves a classic, and gave his version of soul legend Sam Cooke’s ‘Bring It On Home To Me’.
