MGM return to Ireland this weekend and, ahead of the massive ‘Second Coming’ show at the National Stadium, irish-boxing.com is profiling all the Irish fighters who will be in action.

First up is big David Maguire.

38 year old Maguire is the elder statesman of the MGM stable, but is positively a baby in the pro ranks. Only in his second full year in the paid ranks, ‘The Viking’ has built up a 4(1)-0 record, and is looking to move quickly.

2014 saw Maguire win thrice, including an appearance on the massive Sky show at the 3Arena last November. Injury however has restricted him to just one fight this year.

The Dubliner is known as one of the hardest workers in Puerto Banús, and his supreme fitness showed in his this fight. Fighting on the ‘Lights Out at the Plaza’ bill in Spain, Maguire overwhelmed Rolandas Cesna with impressive volme punching.
