Second Coming Countdown – Ciaran ‘The Dark Horse’ Mullen
MGM return to Ireland this weekend and, ahead of the massive ‘Second Coming’ show at the National Stadium, irish-boxing.com is profiling all the Irish fighters who will be in action.
Here we look at novice pro Ciaran Mullen [1(0)-0].
23 last month, Mullen is a strong super middleweight who will be looking to impress on his home debut after returning to the ring after 7 years away.
Well-schooled, the Spanish-based fighter is more bull than matador, and has an exciting come-forward style, looking to clinically break down opponents.
The Dubliner made his pro debut on the Lights Out at the Plaza card in August and showed maturity throughout the four rounds of his show-opening fight against Tomas Samusas.
‘The Dark Horse’ fights in a four rounder at the historic venue.
Watch Mullen’s pro debut below to get a taste of what to expect on Saturday night
