RE: WHITE COLLAR FORUM
Saturday Night’s Alright for Fundraising
On the 26st of May, 30 Beaumount hospital staff will put the scrubs aside for one night and lace up the boxing gloves in aid of the Oncology wards and Raphael’s kids ward. They will step into the ring and put their skills to the ultimate test, in front of a sell -out crowd live in the Wright Venue in Swords. The Las Vegas style fundraising fight night is being organised by FundraisingFightNights.ie. The event promises value for money and packed full of excitement, energy and emotion with 15 fights, across a variety of weight classes. Promoter and former Irish L/fly and flyweight boxing Champion, Conor Ahern says the fighters have prepared well over the training camp, are raring to go and hope to give the crowd a very entertaining evening. Conor says “We provide the fastest growing, high adrenalin, sports and entertainment social nights out in Ireland. All of the fighters have spent 6 weeks in training camp and are ready to go.” Fights are scheduled for 3 ninety sec rounds and Ahern hopes that the quality of the fights and the progress the fighters have made will encourage and inspire more people to take up this kind of active lifestyle and healthier life choices. “We encourage and support everybody that comes through our doors to adapt the fighter’s philosophy of training regularly, eating intelligently, drinking responsibly and living wisely” says the former champ. FundraisingFightNights.ie is only a year old and growing a solid reputation for providing competitors a once in a lifetime chance to get into shape, to test their skills in front of a full house and to raise some money for their chosen charity or club. Tickets can be bought for €20 from Beaumount hospital, The fighters or the Wright Venue door on the night of the show, For further information please visit http://www.fundraisingfightnights.ie or follow us on Facebook/Twitter |
