De La Hoya backs Quigley to dominate Dardar
Golden Boy supremo Oscar De La Hoya has backed Irish star Jason Quigley to ‘dominate’ Lanny Dardar at the LA Fight Club show at the Belasco Theatre in Downtown Los Angeles on Friday night.
The 23-year-old Donegal prospect meets 27-year-old Dardar (2-2-2) in a FoxSports televised middleweight contest and ring legend De La Hoya has backed Quigley to make a statement on Friday
Speaking to the Donegal News, the Hall of Fame ring legend said “Jason Quigley has dominated his opponents in all of his fights since turning pro last year, and his bout at LA Fight Club on March 6 will be no exception, I’m sure.”
“Quigley is going to be one of the highlights in the ring. “Golden Boy Promotions believes Quigley has what it takes to be a champion – that’s why we signed him “I’m proud of what he’s accomplished, and I know he will make the fans back home in Ballybofey proud once again after Friday’s fight.”
The fighter himself is in confident mood going into his fourth bout as a pro expects to continue his winning streak on Friday. “I know my opponent will be in my face all night so it’s shaping up to be a good one. Camp has been amazing. I’m feeling great, I love what I do and I’m ready to put on a show on Friday!”
