Big knockout win for Fury

Heavyweight starlet Hughie Fury scored a highly impressive stoppage victory on Saturday night. Fighting live on Spike TV at the City Academy Sports Centre in Bristol, the cousin of Tyson Fury took just 4 minutes to knock out Argentina’s Emilio Ezequiel Zarate.

Looking composed, 21 year old Fury sent the former South American champ to the canvas in the second round with a big right to end the fight. Indeed the second round victory was the quickest any fighter had ever disposed of Zarate.

With the quick win, Fury improves his record to 17(9)-0 and will look to make it 18 on November 28th when he fights Nicolai Firtha on the undercard of his cousin’s massive World title fight against Wladimir Klitschko in Duesseldorf.

Also on the card at the weekend in Bristol was Tyson Fury’s brother, Young Fury, who outpointed Imantas Davidaitis to move to 6(3)-1(0).
